The BEAR FRIENDS open in MAY 2010 THE BEAR RIVER INTERPRETIVE CENTRE.
Visitors will get information on black bears, grizzlies and polar bears. Educational programs -lectures, displays and videos- will offer the visitors informations on bear/man interactions, accurate data on both brown (grizzly) and black bear populations and their ecosystem. Field work will be completed, thereby helping a better understanding of bear ecology .
