Ever heard about? Or seen a Kermodei? It took me five years, roaming the forests north of Terrace and driving along the Cassiar highway before I met my first Kermodei! It was in spring 2006...
But that same year in the fall, back from my travellings in Spitsberbgen and Greenland, I heard from friends that this bear had been killed by crazy people!
This gives me the energy and courage to start a great project: opening in 2010 THE BEAR RIVER INTERPRETIVE CENTRE in STEWART BC!
